In restorative yoga we use props to support the body. This allows you to hold the poses for longer periods of time as the body begins to open through passive stretching. The postures are usually adapted from supine or seated yoga poses with the addition of blocks, bolsters, and blankets to eliminate unnecessary straining. Restorative yoga is about relaxation, surrender, and renewal. All levels welcome. No yoga experience required.
